DESCRIPTION DU PROJET

PAWS needs your help to build its cattery and quarantine kennels in its new shelter in Mon Loisir. With this new infrastructure, we will be able to rescue dogs and cats in distress and save them from a life of misery.

Every year PAWS saves hundreds of animals. We treat, sterilise and care for them until we find them loving homes. We are all aware of our island being overpopulated with stray animals. By caring for them, we can change these statistics.

The quarantine kennels will house dogs when they arrive at the shelter, to ensure they don’t transmit any contagious diseases to the other animals. But it’s also a safe space for injured or sick dogs. Our cattery will provide shelter to kittens and cats, ensuring their wellbeing while they patiently wait for their furever homes.

The Lux Collective and LUX Island Resorts care for animal welfare and recognise the rights of all sentient beings. They support this project and will match 25% of each donation.

PAWS a besoin de votre aide pour construire un abri pour les chats et une quarantaine pour les chiens dans son nouveau refuge à Mon Loisir. Avec cette nouvelle infrastructure, nous serons capables de prendre sous nos ailes les chiens et chats en détresse et les sauver d’une vie de misère.

Chaque année PAWS sauve des centaines d’animaux. Nous traitons, stérilisons et prenons soin d’eux jusqu’à ce que nous leur trouvions des familles aimantes. Nous sommes tous conscients que l’île Maurice a une surpopulation de chiens et chats errants. Nous pouvons changer ces statistiques.

Notre quarantaine permettra de garder les chiens en observation à leur arrivée au refuge, pour s’assurer qu’ils ne transmettent pas de maladie aux autres animaux. C’est aussi un espace pour les chiens malades ou blessés. Notre Cattery sera l’abri des chatons et chats, assurant leur bien-être tandis qu’ils attendent patiemment de trouver leurs nouvelles maisons.
